Lulu Soft Tulle Pearl Veil

From290.00 AUD

The White Collection carries pearl wedding veils from Lola Knight, A'el Este and our own label, from $125 to $300 AUD, all in ivory. The edit runs from short pearl birdcage veils to single tier and two tier bridal veils with pearls, pearl cluster and crystal and pearl veils, and pearl and flower lace veils. A pearl veil is the most popular veil finish for Australian brides because pearl adds soft, romantic detail through the tulle without the hard sparkle of crystal, and it reads beautifully in natural light.

How to choose a pearl wedding veil

A pearl wedding veil is a tulle veil decorated with pearls, either scattered across the tulle, clustered towards the hem, or set along the edge. Choose by length first, then by how the pearls are placed. Scattered pearls give an all-over shimmer that suits a plain gown. Clustered or edge pearls add weight to the hem, which helps the veil fall straight and frames you in photographs from behind.

Pearl veil lengths: cathedral length, roughly 300 to 360 centimetres from the comb, trails well beyond the train and suits formal church and ballroom ceremonies; Eleanor, Brielle, Phoebe, Emery and Maeve are all cathedral styles. A pearl chapel veil reaches the floor with a slight trail; see chapel veils. A short pearl veil or birdcage, such as Harlow, Blossom or A'el Este's Krista, sits around the face and suits a registry office, a city wedding or a shorter dress. See cathedral veils for full length guidance.

Single tier, two tier or lace? A single tier veil is one layer of tulle and the most popular choice. A two tier veil such as Emery adds a shorter front layer that can be worn over the face as a blusher for the ceremony. Lola Knight's Nadine and Gabriella combine pearls with flower lace, the right choice if your gown has lace you want to echo, and a lovely match for floral bridal shoes. River is a beaded veil for brides who want texture without a lace motif.

Adding pearls to a veil yourself is possible, but pearls need to be hand-stitched rather than glued so they do not pull the tulle out of shape, and the spacing is hard to get even across three metres of fabric. A ready-made pearl veil has the pearls stitched evenly into the tulle, and the price difference is usually smaller than brides expect.

FAQs

Are pearl veils in style for 2026?

Yes. Pearl has become the defining bridal finish of the mid-2020s, across veils, earrings, headbands and shoes. The pearl veils brides choose now have pearls scattered or clustered through the tulle rather than a heavy beaded edge, like Lola Knight's Eleanor and Phoebe.

What lengths do pearl veils come in?

Our pearl veils range from short birdcage styles that sit around the face to full cathedral veils of roughly 300 to 360 centimetres. Cathedral styles include Eleanor, Brielle, Phoebe, Emery and Maeve. Exact lengths vary by style, so check the individual product page before ordering.

Can you steam a veil with pearls?

Yes, with care. Hang the veil and use a handheld steamer on a low setting, held 15 to 20 centimetres from the tulle, moving constantly. Never iron a pearl veil, and avoid steaming directly over the pearls, as heat can loosen the thread. Most creases drop out on their own if the veil hangs for 24 hours.

Does a pearl veil go with a lace dress?

Yes. Pearl and lace are one of the most natural pairings in bridal. With a heavily lace gown, choose a scattered pearl veil with a plain edge so the two do not compete. If you want to echo the lace, Lola Knight's Nadine and Gabriella combine pearls with flower lace.

Should my pearl veil match my pearl earrings?

Keep the pearl tone consistent rather than identical. Most of our pearl veils use warm ivory pearls, so choose earrings with a warm or cream pearl rather than a stark white one. Browse pearl wedding earrings for matching tones.

What colour are your pearl veils?

Every pearl veil in this collection is ivory, which matches the ivory, champagne and soft white gowns most Australian brides wear. If your gown is bright white, browse our full veils collection or contact us for advice on the match.

Do you ship pearl wedding veils across Australia?

Yes. The White Collection ships to all states and territories across Australia. Free shipping on all orders over $100. Afterpay available. Order at least two months before the wedding so you can try the veil with your dress and hair.
